Bonnybridge Library, Falkirk

I was met at BonnyBridge Library by a parade of children holding balloons and homemade flags some with #LunaLovesLibraryDay emblazoned upon them. And what’s that I can hear? It’s a bookbug session in full swing as rhymer and singer extraordinaire Malcolm gets the kids to join in with Old Macdonald and cries of “you canny throw your granny off the bus!” The library was buzzing and a perfect example of everything libraries are about, fun, community, young and old, singing and hearing stories and taking part. Library staff Debbie Scott and Lynne James whisked me around as we posed for The Herald in front of the Libraries huge Mural and showed great pride at their #SummerReadingChallenge @readingagency space chasers wall showing a gigantic fleet of rocket ship participants.
