Crowthorne Library, Bracknell Forest

As luck would have it I’m actually due to return to Bracknell Libraries in October to do some author presentations but since I was passing it seemed like a great opportunity to join up. Librarian Sharon Cripps told me all about the wonderful library service and their unusual card system that doubles up as a bus pass (for those in receipt of free travel) an ID for young people and even a record keeper for all your green recycling points! What a fabulous system. This did however mean that my card would have to be sent to me as it gets printed centrally with my photo! I can’t wait to receive it. This did not stop me from borrowing a book however with my temporary paper card which I used to borrow #samwuisnotafraidofsharks by the fabulous duo @kwebberwanders and @kevgtsang.
