and helps you to create a new poem, showing how writing and drawing can be used as a wonderful way to explore feelings and record memories. A thought-provoking and uplifting event which explores the concept of death and loss in a touching, tender and accessible way.
Back in the Classroom…
Exploring precious memories
If All the World Were… shows all the wonderful things a little girl does with her grandad. Choose someone you love spending time with and write a list of all your favourite things to do together. You could separate them by season, just as in the book. Then draw a picture to accompany each activity, showing the two of you enjoying it together.

Drawing on poetic techniques and different poetic forms, Joseph will demonstrate how an understanding and appreciation of how poetry is written can have a huge impact on all mediums from picture books to non-fiction and beyond.
