I found myself at Ramsey library as part of a brilliant Pop-up Festivals initiative The Family Book Festival, a series of events in libraries including author and illustrator presentations, poetry and spoken word events. I was sharing my poetry books How To Write Poems and Overheard In A Tower Block. The library is small but very homely. I set up my presentation in a corner of the children’s section and shared poems and got the families to create their own. It was a huge amount of fun but no sooner had I finished and I was off to St Neots library for some picture book events. So I quickly signed up and got my card.
