The Teeger That Cam For His Tea!

Back on the road today joining Libraries in authorities surrounding Edinburgh. My first stop was at Peebles Library- I arrived early to join a queue of eager library users including a wee girl who kept asking “is it open yet?” Alison and Hannah joined me up giving me not one but six cards! One adult card and five of the brilliant child designed cards. There is a surprise hidden in this library in the Chamber Reading room where an exquisite reproduction of reliefs from the Parthenon race down the walls- what a brilliant place to come and read or write.

I spotted a scots version of #JudithKerr’s #TheTigerWhoCameToTea or rather The Teeger That Cam For His Tea! And so naturally I used my new card to borrow it.
